How construction crews use our Working at Height module: a man basket lift and a scaffold platform, with the checks and permits that prevent falls.

The risk

At height, one skipped check can mean a fall: outriggers not deployed, too many people in the basket, a missing guardrail. In VR, crews can make those mistakes where nobody gets hurt.

What the trainee does

Man basket: do the pre-use check and make sure the outriggers are fully deployed.
Verify the work permit and the operator's certificates before the lift.
See what happens when the basket goes over its safe working load, and start the lift only when every check passes.
Do a task at height: measure the pier cap from the basket.
Scaffold platform: install the top rail and mid rail, place the toe boards delivered by crane, remove damaged tools and wires, and barricade floor openings.
Finish with a knowledge check.
