Stadium Crowd Safety Training Simulation
A training simulation for stadium staff: inspect the gates, clear blocked entrances and emergency routes, and clear crowd congestion at the barriers.
- Client
- Name withheld for now
- Industry
- Venues and live events
- Setting
- An indoor arena and its entrance plaza
The problem
Stadium staff have to spot a closed gate, a blocked lane or a crowd building up at the barriers, and act quickly. None of that can be rehearsed with a real crowd.
What we built
- A virtual arena and entrance plaza, filled with spectators.
- A gate inspection procedure: check every gate from the navigation menu, including the entry and emergency exit gates.
- Emergency procedures: find and clear a blockage at an entrance lane and on an emergency route.
- Crowd congestion at the barriers that the trainee has to clear. The procedure is marked complete only when every step is done.
