New · Robotics training

Train on the robot before you touch the robot.

We have built 100+ VR simulations for safety, skills and driver training. Now we build them for robotics, so people practice around industrial robots and cobots without stopping a line or risking a collision.

Robotics is new for us, so every robotics simulation is a custom build around your robots, your cell layout and your procedures.

What we can build

Robot cell safety

Entering and leaving a cell safely: guarding, light curtains, interlocks, emergency stops, and lockout before anyone goes in.

Operating basics

Modes, safe speeds and jogging with a teach pendant, practiced on a virtual robot before the real one.

Maintenance and fault recovery

Step-by-step maintenance, and recovering from a fault without anyone stepping into the robot's reach.

Working beside cobots

Sharing a workspace with collaborative robots: speed limits, contact zones, and what to do when something goes wrong.

How we build it

  1. Your robots and procedures

Send us the robot models, the cell layout or photos, and the procedures your people follow.

  2. We build the cell in VR

The robot, the cell and the tasks, built to match your setup.

  3. Scored like every module

Each attempt is scored and shows on the inbuilt dashboard: who trained, the errors, and who needs a refresher.

  4. Run it your way

On your own Meta Quest headsets, or as part of a VR Training Lab at your site.

What comes with it

  • Group sessions: a trainer and up to 10 trainees in the same cell, talking over voice chat, as in our roofing program.
  • Scoring and the inbuilt dashboard on every attempt.
  • Most sessions finish within 8 to 20 minutes.

New modules start from $4,000. Final price depends on scope; we quote after one call.

See what we have built

Our multiplayer roofing program has trained 5,000+ people, and our driving simulation is used by clients that VR Motion reports include the US Military.
