From 7 to 9 October 2026, HapzXR exhibited at OSH India for the first time. The 14th edition, organised by Informa Markets at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai, brought together more than 300 brands from 13 countries.
We spent three days at Stall G77 in Hall 3, running live VR safety training demos. Here is what we saw, and what we heard.

1. Safety is now a priority across industries
The interest in safety was huge, and it came from every direction. We met people from construction and infrastructure, manufacturing, pharma and chemicals, oil and gas, power and logistics.
The organisers made the same point at the opening. Informa Markets India said occupational safety is moving beyond compliance, towards business continuity and worker wellbeing. India’s new Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code is adding to that push.

2. The big names showed what modern safety looks like
Leading safety brands came to show their best. KARAM, Venus and Udyogi showcased their PPE and fall protection ranges, alongside global names such as 3M, Honeywell, Dräger, Ansell and Allen Cooper. KARAM’s T-Line won “Best Innovative Product of the Year” at the show.
Walking the halls, one thing was clear. Safety equipment in India is getting smarter, lighter and better designed every year.
3. Technology in safety is picking up
Over three days, we met more than 200 company representatives. Most were HSE heads, safety directors and people from the safety industry.
The conversations went beyond equipment. People asked how to train workers better, how to check that training works, and how to reach a large, changing workforce. Technology is no longer a side topic in safety. It is becoming part of the plan.

4. A busy stall, all three days
Our stall was busy from the first morning to the last evening. We demoed our VR training to more than 50 HSE and safety teams.
The demo was simple. Put on a headset, do a high-risk task, and make a mistake where it is safe to make one. In three minutes, visitors saw what a worker would face on site, without anyone getting hurt.
5. People loved how easy VR training is
The feedback we heard most was about how easy it felt. No PC, no cables, no long setup. Just a headset and a real task to practise.
Many visitors told us their company needs a VR training setup. They saw how it could help new joiners, contract workers and refresher training, especially for work at height, confined spaces and fire safety.
If your team is asking the same questions, here are quick answers:
- Can it follow our procedures? Yes. We adapt ready-made modules to your SOPs, or build a new one around your site.
- Can we track who trained? Yes. A dashboard shows who trained, when, and their scores.
- Do we need special hardware? No. The modules run on standalone Meta Quest headsets, which we can also rent to you in India.
What’s next
We are now following up with every team we met. If we spoke at OSH India, expect to hear from us this week.
If you missed us, it is not too late. Ready-made VR trainings start at ₹15,000 per month per site, with unlimited trainees. You can also start with a 90-day pilot.
