A logistics company with high seasonal hiring volume struggled with low completion rates and poor knowledge retention from their traditional safety onboarding program. New hires found the slide-based content disengaging, and supervisors had no visibility into whether employees actually understood safety procedures.
HapzXR designed a gamified VR onboarding experience where new hires progressed through warehouse safety scenarios, earning points for correct decisions and losing lives for safety violations. A leaderboard fostered friendly competition between onboarding cohorts, and progressive difficulty ensured even experienced workers found the challenges relevant.
The system tracked individual performance across five safety domains and automatically flagged workers who needed targeted follow-up training. Managers received a readiness dashboard showing each new hire's competency level before they entered the warehouse floor.
